Students in the Plumbing and Heating program recently went through an in-depth safety training. Under the supervision of instructors Mr. Ciarleglio and Mr. Eagan, each 11th grade student paired up with a 10th grader to instruct them on proper safety procedures including:

• Ladders and scaffold
• Fall protection
• Hand and Power tool safety
• Trench safety
• Electrical safety, lockout tag out

During the evaluation phase, each student took a written test, and then a practical test. They MUST score 100% on these exams in order to proceed with shop projects. Each student receiving 100% proficiency on in all areas will receive a certificate.
