On Wednesday, November 28th, the 9th grade Global Studies classes of Ms. Buchter, Ms. Minutillo and Mr. Moore celebrated their ethnic diversity by sharing food and recipes.  The students were asked to bring a food item unique to their culture and ethnicity to complement their study of different cultures.

A wide variety of foods represented the diversity of Bullard-Havens students.  The students also brought in nonperishable food items for a local food bank.  The celebration ended with a Powerpoint presentation on world hunger, reminding students that 21 percent of the world population does not have enough to eat.
