Although the word "Public" appears in the title, our electronic catalog is actually an"Online School Access Catalog" which contains all the books located in the Bullard-Havens Media Center.

To enter the electronic catalog, double-click the OPAC icon located on the Desktop.  When you are in OPAC  first type a search item, then choose a category button to search by. The categories are as follows:

Keyword
A word that appears in the description and cataloguing of the book

Title
Title of the book

Author
Author of the book, last name first

Subject
Search by a subject. Cataloguing rules apply so if you are not satisfied with your results try searching again by keyword.

Series
Will list all the books in a Series
Example: Our American Century

Call Number
Will list books by call number

Power
Allows searching by up to 3 keywords or phrases

Bookbag
Creates a printable list of books.  First select the title, then click the "Add to Bookbag" button on the bottom of the page.  View your list by clicking the "Bookbag" icon.

To use the OPAC now, first close this web site to get to the Desktop, then double click on the OPAC icon.
