Author Keysha Whitaker recently met after school with Book Enrichment members.  Ms. Whitaker had her first book published titled Hickeys, Hiccups & Homework.  In her presentation Ms. Whitaker spoke about the publishing industry and the process of getting a book published.

Ms. Whitaker grew up in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Book Enrichment is an after school grant program where students are provided with books, snacks and bus tokens. This is the second year the group has been meeting on Wednesdays after school in the Media Center. Moderators of the group are Diane Ancel and Tina Weiner.
