The Bullard-Havens community came
together on the evening of April 24, 2008 to host its 1st
Annual Multicultural Night. The efforts of Guidance Coordinator,
Jean Marconi, was supported by 112 student and 43 staff
volunteers. Ethnic restaurants donated their cuisine to
the evening and local talent included a storyteller and
an Irish bagpipe and drum group. Latin American, Jamaican
and African dancing was provided by talented Bullard-Havens
students. The audience also enjoyed gospel and inspirational
singing by students and teacher Carol Toppin. Bullard-Havens
takes pride in the cultural diversity of its students and
staff.
