Writing Club Hosts Poetry Jam

 The Ink Burns writing club, under the direction of advisors Ms. Wordell, Ms. Buchter and Ms. Ruskin, hosted its First Annual Poetry Jam after school in the Media Center on Thursday, April 9, 2009.  Several students, teachers, and even an assistant principal, made their way to the microphone to share their favorite poetry or one they had written, with all being well-received by the audience.  With the help of the Graphic Technology department, the students of Ink Burns gave out a booklet containing selected pieces of their poetry and writing.  Refreshments followed the event and we are all looking forward to next year’s Poetry Jam!
