Aero Tech student AnneMarie
Korzon has received a scholarship through the Aviation Electronic
Association. It is a fully paid scholarship to Spartan School
of Aeronautics Avionics Program in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Graduates
earn FCC Avionics certification with radar endorsement and an
Associates in Applied Science. The scholarship value is put at
$30,000.
AnneMarie
also was named as one of six winners for the "Women
in Aviation" scholarship. The scholarship awarded by Pratt & Whitney
is given to individuals pursuing
careers in aviation maintenance. Winners have the option to
attend any one of the maintenance courses offered by Pratt & Whitney
or Pratt & Whitney
Canada, such as System Familiarization, Line and Base Maintenance,
and Borescope Inspection Procedures on JT8D, JT9D, PW2000, PW4000,
PT6, or PW100 engines. |
