Staff and Students Participate in State Convention
for Plumbing, Heating and Cooling Contractors
On February
17th and 18th, groups of CTHSS Plumbing and Heating students and
their instructors participated in the 116th Annual Convention and
Trade Show for Connecticut Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling Contractors
(PHCC). Held in the new Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford,
the two day event included meetings, workshops, seminars and a trade
show displaying the latest equipment and vehicles in the field.
Connecticut Tech students and teachers who attended were able to
get cutting edge information about the Plumbing, Heating and Cooling
field. Students also were able to talk to many employers about job
prospects once they graduate. "We work very closely with
the PHCC membership throughout the year so this event is very important
to us", said Ray Mencio, consultant for the CTHSS Construction
technologies. |
