Vinal Tech Students to Compete in
National Auto Competition in New York City

Paul Cavallaro and David Dettore, Senior Auto Technology students at Vinal Technical High School in Middletown, Connecticut have qualified to compete in the Hartford Auto Dealers Association competition held in New York City April 17-20. In order to qualify students had to take a written test measuring their knowledge of automotive mechanics. Paul and David came out with the highest scores in the state. Their instructor Bill Balch,  the Auto Technology Department Head at Vinal Tech, will be accompanying the two students to the competition. Balch said that he was very proud of his students and said that in fact the four top scores in Connecticut were all Vinal Tech students. Congratulations Paul and David and good luck in New York City!
