| The Norwich
Tech Math Team won the 6th Annual Math League Competition held
at Goodwin Technical High School in New Britain, Connecticut on
Tuesday, May 16, 2006. The Norwich Tech team led by advisors Ms
Mary Lunt and Ms. Gilda Puccio has won the competition four out
of the last five years. Jess Burns of Goodwin Tech had the highest
overall individual score. Kirk Gardiner and Scott Cloutier of
Norwich Tech came in second and third.
Wolcott Tech Math instructor Mike Psutka who organizes the Math
League Competition said he really enjoys putting on the event
each year. "It's great to see so many kids getting so excited
about doing math," said Psutka. Congratulations to Norwich
