On Tuesday, May 8th, two staff members of Norwich Technical High
School were honored at the Sixth Annual State Nurse of the
Year Award Ceremony held at the State Capitol. Katherine Pellerin,
Department Head of the Licensed Practical Nurse program at Norwich
Tech was selected as a finalist for the Administrative / Educator
category and Norwich Tech School Head Nurse Linda Dame was chosen
as a finalist in the Direct Care category. The awards were presented
by Polly Barey, the Executive Director of the Connecticut
Nurses Association. Each year, the Department of Administrative
Services sponsors the event to recognize outstanding work by state
employees in the health service fields. |
