CTHSS STAFF HONORED FOR THEIR OUTSTANDING WORK
IN HEALTH CARE SERVICES

On
Monday, May 12th, two staff members of the Connecticut Technical
High School System were
honored at the Seventh Annual State Nurse of the Year Award
Ceremony held at the State Capitol. Susan Deane, Department
Head of the Licensed Practical Nurse program at Prince Technical
High School was selected as a finalist for the Administrative
/ Educator category and Eli Whitney Technical High School Nurse
Palma Shea was chosen as a finalist in the Direct Care category.
The awards were presented by Brenda L. Sisco, Commissioner
of the Department
of Administrative Services. Each year, the Department
of Administrative Services sponsors the event to recognize outstanding
work by state employees in the health service fields. |
