The Institute of Living/Hartford Hospital sponsors an annual academic and art competition designed to decrease the stigma of mental illness.  The Brain Dance Awards encourage students to gain knowledge about psychiatric diseases and develop a more tolerant and realistic perspective toward people with severe psychiatric problems. Four Cheney Tech students participated in this year's event : Jahquan Bolling, Peter Keovilay, Sam Springer, and Terry Prokop.

Terry won an honorable mention and $100 for his short story project Closing Darkness. Nice work Seniors!
