Dan
Lima, a class of 2011 student in Computer Aided Drafting and Design
(CADD) and member of the Cheney Tech Varsity Baseball Team has
been named to the Connecticut All-State Baseball Team. Dan
is the only Connecticut Technical High School baseball player to
be selected as a state All-State this year and he also is the first
Cheney Tech sophomore ever to be selected for the team.
Some of the highlights of Dan's Cheney Tech baseball career are:
- In the 2007-08 season he had the most stolen bases (45) in the State and was 3rd in the Country.
- #1 in stolen bases in the State again this year.
- An outstanding .469 batting average and a .589 on base percentage
