Cheney Tech Team 809 TechnoWizards
2008 Philadelphia FIRST Robotics Regional Finalist |
On the 29th of March after a very exciting first day and a half of competition the TechnoWizards found themselves in 24th place out of 44 teams. During the alliance selection for the elimination rounds, Cheney Tech’s Team 809 was selected by the number 1 ranked team to be their partner in the quest of a regional title. After making their way through the quarter-finals and the semi-finals things were looking very good. Then in the two out of three finals the TechnoWizards alliance was defeated 2 matches to 1. This is the highest finish in the team’s history and the team mentors are very proud the hard work and dedication shown by all the student members. |
