Senior Diesel students James Fricke and Travis Peters installed new main crankshaft bearings and new connecting rods bearings on this eight cylinder International diesel engine.  This repair will greatly extend the service life of this engine as well as improve it's fuel efficiency and exhaust emissions.  The Diesel and Heavy Duty Equipment Repair Department frequently perform repair and maintenance services for the 2nd Company Governor's Horse Guard in Newtown, CT.
