PLUMBING AND HEATING STUDENT WORKING FOR REALI PLUMBING AND HEATING

Nick Rogers, a Senior in the Plumbing and Heating program at Ellis Tech, started working for Reali Plumbing and Heating LLC in January. Based in Brooklyn, Connecticut, Reali Plumbing has been providing commercial and residential plumbing services for over 40 years. Nick works a full day when he is in shop and he has already been involved in every aspect of the work including installing drainage, venting and waste systems and hot water heaters.

"It's great," says Nick about his experience so far. "I enjoy coming to work every day and on top of it I get paid." His supervisor Paul Reali says that Nick has worked out very well for him. "This is the first student I have hired from Ellis Tech and I have been very impressed." Nick says that he thinks his training at Ellis Tech helped him a great deal in preparing him for the real world of work. "I think what I learned most though was a good work ethic. Staying focused on the work is the key."

Asked what he plans to do after graduation, Nick says that he wants to keep working in the field. "I want to keep working for Reali Plumbing and keep getting better at what I enjoy doing."
