JUNIORS
CONSTRUCT PROJECTS FOR AMERICAN LITERATURE CLASS
Ellis Tech
Juniors have been studying many aspects of American Literature. As America
progressed as a country, so did the literature. The entire
Junior class has just completed a unit on the Puritans. They
learned about their values, beliefs, way of life, and of course
their literature. One such story that embodied Puritanical
society was Arthur Miller’s The Crucible. The story
revolved around the Salem witch hysteria of 1692. Upon
finishing the story, Juniors were given a list of projects from
which to choose. Some project offerings included creating
a: wanted poster of an accused witch, a diorama depicting a crucial
scene in the play, a newspaper, and a model village. The
projects that were submitted were amazing! Our kids truly
aspire when given a hands on assignment!
