| The
ELLIS TECH LIBRARY MEDIA CENTER provides
full library media services to the Ellis Tech Community: Students,
Faculty, Staff, and the general public. Some 7,000 titles support
the curriculum, personal issues, and recreational interests. The
collection includes, books, magazines, newspapers, video-cassettes,
CDs, and phonodiscs. Students may borrow most books for a 2-week
loan period. Other materials and equipment (including CD/audiocassette
player/recorders, digital camera, overhead & slide projectors)
are available for classroom use, and by special arrangement. INTERNET
service, word processors, a photocopier, & the network printer
are available to all Library users whenever the Library is open.
OPAC is the electronic "card" catalogue: it tells you what is on
the shelf in the Library. (Look on your school computer Desktop
for the short book shelf with the magnifying glass.)
Students
use the Library during Enrichment (study hall) and Instructors schedule
classes in the Library for presentations & directed research.
SHOPS, as well as academic classes, are encouraged to use the Library.
All Shop areas are represented in the Library's resources.
LIBRARY
