Channel 30 News On Thursday May 1st, NBC Channel 30 News came to Ellis Tech to interview Rose Bohman and her team for an airing between 5 & 7 am on Thursday May 8th. The channel 30 crew took many shots of the cafe team as they went about their business serving students and staff lunches starting at 11 am. Students as well as Rose were interviewed about their lunches and how they were served In preparation for the event the students decorated the cafe. They also sent in emails to enter the contest making the Ellis Tech cafe team able to be in the running. The staff also got into the excitment of the event by donating shirts for each of the cafe ladies. There were 4 other lunch stafsf in the competition. The winner is anticipated to be announced Friday May 8th. "We all had such a good time and the kids and staff were all great on that day. Everybody got along and a good time was had by all! " said Rose. She gave many thank yous to the entire school for making this all happen and for their new shirts and her new plant. |

It
is called the NBC Channel 30 News "Lunch Lady Face Off". Excitement
stirred as the staff at Ellis learned of the competition. The
Ellis Tech Librarian Mrs Oudin launched the Ellis cafe ladies
into competition.
