On Monday, August 25, 63 faculty, staff and administrators were trained in CPR, the Heimlich maneuver and the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). The skills learned will allow those trained to intervene in the event of sudden cardiac arrest or if someone is choking. The goal is to make Ellis Technical High School a safer place for our students, families, athletes and employees.

The training was done in cooperation with K-B Ambulance Corps, Woodstock EMS, Community Fire Company in Thompson and Hubbard Regional Hospital in Webster, MA.
