James Gallow has been selected as this year's Teacher of the Year for Ellis Technical High School.

James Gallowis a 1988 graduate of Ellis Tech Carpentry shop. As a graduate he worked in the industry for a local Carpentry business for many years.  Jim returned to his alma mater to pursue his passion for the trade, for the high school students and for teaching in such a busy and ever changing environment.

In February 2006 Jim received his Professional Teaching Certification and continues taking part in a variety of professional development activities for continued excellence in his technology and profession. Jim and his wife Stephanie have 4 children and reside in Mossup, CT

He will be honored along with Teachers of the Year from all of the Technical High Schools around the state at the annual Celebration of Excellence Dinner held this Fall. Congratulations Mr. Gallow!
