Craft Fair

We just want to say thank you everyone who donated food items, paper goods, beverages, time or anything else to the Craft Fair.  We had a great group of juniors who came in to help and did a great job making grinders and selling raffle tickets.  We made a total of $461.00.  Everything we made was complete profit because everything was donated!!  Fabulous job!!!!!  Thank you so much!!!!!!!

Fundraisers

The EZ Towel and Citrus fundraisers are all complete and the money has been posted to each student’s account who did any fundraising.  The Citrus orders should be here in a couple of weeks.  The Yankee Candle fundraiser is complete and will be delivered before Christmas.  The student profit for that has not yet come in.  All other Junior dues are to be paid as soon as possible.  Please check with the business office to do this.  All dues must be paid before your child can participate in the proms or class trips.

Please Check out our website periodically for any upcoming events!!

Shop Fair December 6th

We are also planning for our next PFO Fundraiser.  The Shop Fair is December 6th and we are raffling off two Adirondack chairs made by our carpentry department.  We have a good deal of left over soda and water and chips that we would also like to sell at the Shop Fair.  I am looking for a couple of parents and students to sell raffle tickets and soda.  Please let me know if you can do this.  We have to sell good amount of raffle tickets to make our profit because we put out $110 for the chairs.  Please let me know if you would be available that night to help out.

Class Dues
Class Dues are due to the business office by October 30, 2007.  The dues for junior year are $60.  If you have not paid any dues yet you will owe $120.  To pay your dues in full through senior year would be $180.  If you have a question about how much you owe in dues you can either ask our Class Treasurer Ashley Falzone or call the business office 774-8511 Ext 1603.  If you have participated in any fundraising a percentage of the money you have raised will help defray the cost of your dues.  Our next fundraiser will be the Citrus Sale!  Please see below for more information.  All dues must be paid in full before you can participate in junior and senior events such as proms and field trips.

Junior Prom Committee

The Junior Class is now looking for students who would like to be a part of the Junior Class Prom Committee.  There are sign up sheets throughout the building.  The committee will meet immediately after school until 3PM and is responsible for planning the Junior Prom.  Please sign up or see a class officer if you are interested.

Junior Prom News

At this time we are working on securing a place for the Junior Prom.  The committee is looking at a local fire department or the Laurel House.  We will make that decision within the next couple of weeks.

Hat Days
The Junior Class will be sponsoring Hat Days this school year.  The students will be allowed to wear a hat during the academic cycle throughout the school day if they purchase a sticker for $1 before homeroom.  The proceeds will go to the class account to be used for the Junior Prom.  We will have various contests throughout the year so get creative and wear your hats to school.

Our hat days have been quite successful so far, our next one is December 7th.  Please encourage everyone to pay $1.00 to wear a hat.

Hat days will be on the following Fridays:

December 7, 2007
January 4, 2008
February 1, 2008
March 7, 2008
April 4, 2008
May 2, 2008
