The
ELLIS TECH LITERARY MAGAZINE, informally
known as the LIT
MAG, has been around for many
years. Each year there are new student POEMS,
essays, drawings, & photographs featured to
showcase Ellis Tech Students’ creative talents. All
kinds of entries that can be represented with pen & ink
are welcome & eagerly sought. Many students
write great poems, but we need to receive them to
be able to publish them in the LIT MAG.
This year’s
editorial staff: Editor Katelyn Young, 2010, Associate
Editor Peter van den Berg, 2009, Adam Schroth, 2009,
Ryan Niemi, 2009, Chas Pesanka, 2009, & Julian Clancy,
2009, along with their Faculty Advisor, Mrs. Oudin,
our Librarian, are all eagerly standing by ready to receive & publish
your creative efforts for all to enjoy. You
may email (preferably), or give your work
to Mrs. Oudin in the Library, or to any of these students.
Every issue is different. You can
see last year’s magazine, as well as examples from many
earlier years in the Library. Come & see & you
will realize that YOU, too can become a published poet, author,
artist, or photographer! Please note that all the Staff members,
except our esteemed Editor, are all Seniors— This
is great, and we also need other students to come & join
us. We especially need you, so that you will be
ready to take over next year when these folks graduate!
We try to publish
at least one or 2 issues each school year, but it all depends
on the timely receipt of your writings! So please, get
with the program & get your POEMS, & other fine
writings & pictures to the LIT MAG staff ASAP!
Please
email your work to Mrs. Oudin at joanna.oudin@ct.gov
