The Connecticut Technical High School System held its annual Celebration of Excellence Dinner on October 17th to honor the Teacher of the Year and the Alumnus of the year at each Technical High School.  At this ceremony, Jeremy LeDuc was named the Teacher of the Year at Goodwin Tech and James Wyskiewicz was named Goodwin Tech's Alumnus of the Year. 

Jeremy has been a Science teacher at E.C. Goodwin for the past seven years He is currently working toward a Master’s degree.

Jim is a 1989 graduate of the Electronics program at E.C. Goodwin.  Jim went on to receive his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Connecticut and his Masters in Business Administration degree from Regis University. He has served as a New Britain Alderman since 2003. He is now a Contracts Administrator with Hamilton Sunstrand in Windsor Locks, and is also a candidate for mayor in this year’s election in the city of New Britain.
