“Izzy” is employed by Tri-Star Industries.  Recently the president of the company wrote him a glowing scholarship recommendation. In the letter, he referred to Izzy as “a valued employee… who adheres to all rules and procedures… is enthusiastic about his work assignments… and who is personable and gets along well with co-workers”.  For these reasons, Goodwin recognizes Izzy in the area of Excellence in Teaching and Learning.

While volunteering as an EMT cadet in his local community, Shawn helped to save an individual who was having a heart attack. His dedication and concern for others exemplifies our school goal of a Caring and Connected Community.

Josh is recognized for contributing to a Positive School Environment at Goodwin.  His teachers and peers praise him for being a caring person who is not only an excellent student, but for also volunteering to peer tutor other students in math, science and computer education.
