Class of 2009 Electrical students
have been busy on a production assignment in Plymouth this fall.
Under the supervision of Electrical Department Head Rob Campochiaro,
the students are wiring a commercial garage that will be used to
assemble and paint new trucks. Provisions are being made for welders
and a spay booth. The lighting is metal halide high bay fixtures. An
office will also be framed in the garage for the secretarial staff. The
students will also be piping in the underground from the utility pole
to a pad mount transformer, and from the transformer to the building
to supply the 800 amp 3phase 120/208 volt service. All wiring is
done with EMT, RMC, and PVC. |
