Grasso's Young Artists Society, and student activity, volunteered to paint a mural at the local Liberty Tax Service. For three Saturdays in December, this talented group of young artists worked on the mural themed "Groton, A Place for everyone." They brainstormed possible ideas and searched for historical images of Groton landmarks that now showcase the mural. The actual mural resembles an old-time postcard using landmarks in each of the letters. This tells a story using visuals. There is a an image of Fort Trumbull, an image of a house which happens to be the business owner's grandmother's house, the beach and sea gulls
Students participating were Ian Clark, Jessica Dickson, Daminica Santiago, Kylie Henderson, and Melissa Dolzenchuk, Rossy Ramirez, and Jennifer Neault.
