Grasso Tech Students
and Staff Takes Field Trip to "Bodies Revealed" Exhibit |
| On
February 28, 2008, fifty students and their science instructors
went on a field trip to see the "Bodies Revealed" exhibit
at the Hartford Civic Center. The exhibit is a unique
in-depth look into the human body. The galleries displayed
each system of the body and information regarding the structure
and function of all the body parts. These real bodies
on display have been preserved using the polymer preservation
process, which allows them to be examined for decades. The
students were also given the opportunity to touch and hold
a real human brain – there is only one word to describe
the experience, “fascinating”. |
