Even though the weather did not cooperate, it didn't stop the students and staff of Grasso Tech's excitement to welcome the students and families of the Class of 2012. The festive blue and silver balloons and great smell of grilling hamburgers brought the families to the cafeteria.

The picnic menu included delicious hamburgers and hot dogs with macaroni salad were prepared and served by our teachers.  Many more teachers were on hand to explain Grasso's programs and give out any information that the new students needed.

While the ice cream desserts were being distributed by our volunteer student helpers, Mrs. Bell welcomed all participating parents and students of the new freshman class.  She invited all in attendance to take a tour of the school, and more student volunteers provided their service and gave an insight to life at Grasso Tech.

Although the weather was a bit chilly, the atmosphere at the third annual New Freshman Welcome Picnic was warm and welcoming.
