John Cannamela, a 1985 graduate from Grasso Tech's Manufacturing program, was recently featured on national TV on the "Today's Homeowner" program hosted by Danny Lipford. Cannemela is an expert in the thermal imaging industry and was invited on the program to talk about this developing field. He runs his own company, Infrared Survey, and has appeared at numerous technical conferences, on radio programs and has been featured in several newspapers.

After graduating from Grasso, he studied at Thames Valley Community and then returned to Grasso to take adult evening courses in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning. He worked at Pfizer and then relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina where he became involved in thermal imaging in 2000.
