ART STUDENTS TAKE TRIP TO THE
METROPOLITAN MUSEUM OF ART |
The Art Department recently attended their first and hopefully annual trip to New York City to visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Ms. Supples and I chaperoned a group of 19 students for what I felt was a true "New York Experience". This entailed taking a train from the New Haven train station into Grand Central Station with subsequent trips on the Green Line Train 6, of the New York Subway system. We toured the Metropolitan Museum of Art, which if you have never been is a maze of breathtaking art and loads of people! To finalize our trip we hoofed it back to Grand Central where we caught the train back to New Haven. It was a remarkable day for everyone!
Enjoy the photos!
