Jasmine
Bush, a Senior in the Electrical program, has been named
Kaynor Tech's Student of the Year. She is President of the
Student Council, Secretary of the Senior Class, President of
the Student Congress and a member of the National Honor Society.
Jasmine has a Grade Point Average of 93.3 and
has been on the honor roll all four years. She has participated
in cross country (4 years), track (3 years), indoor track (1
year), and was elected captain of the cross country and indoor
track team this year.
Jasmine
plans on entering the electrical trade upon graduation and continue
to work toward her E-2 license. Once she earns her E-2
license she would like to establish her own business and continue
her education. She was very excited to hear that she was
Student of the Year and appreciates what Kaynor has done for
her these past four years.
Jasmine,
along with Students of the Year from the other 17 Technical
High Schools, was honored at the annual Students of the Year
Luncheon at Platt Technical High School on Friday, May 23rd.
