A Message from the Superintendent

The Connecticut Technical System is excited to provide adult students with an opportunity to pursue their nursing dreams. Our Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) Program is a full-time opportunity for qualified adult learners to advance into one of Connecticut’s most needed medical careers.

New to the LPN Program is our partnership with the Connecticut Community Colleges.  Along with the new admissions requirements, LPN graduates will now be able to continue their nursing education at any of the Connecticut Community College’s Registered Nursing Programs directly from our LPN Program upon graduation.  I am excited that our future LPN graduates will now have an opportunity to pursue their Registered Nursing (RN) dreams by completing two additional college courses in order to attend a CT Community College RN Program for an additional year.

I encourage anyone who is interested in pursuing the medical field to apply and complete all of the prerequisites to one of our 11 LPN sites statewide.
