On October 4th, Art students from Ms. Hayes new Portfolio elective class visited the Hempstead Cemetery, the oldest cemetery in New London. Students did grave stone rubbings which they will later incorporate into a multimedia work of art.

After the cemetery trip, students visted locally renowned artist Kat Murphy' who took gave them a personal tour of the studio.  The group also got to see multimedia artwork at the Hygienic Gallery and the Golden Street Gallery.
