Guitar Workshop Brings in Local Artist

Friday marked the first annual Guitar Workshop where students were treated by a performance and workshop by John Losito of "Sdrum" (his band). Mr. Losito showed the students how to perform, make recordings, and mix music. Many of the guitars students also were able to perform with Mr. Losito for their peers and excited faculty and staff.

John Losito has been singing and strumming since his dad taught him to play when he was 8 years old. He is a long time veteran of the New England music scene. He has played with such groups as “Voices”, “Dreamer”, “The Funky Folks” and who could forget his crazy antics with “Primitive Ink”. Losito has the uncanny ability to make you feel like you are part of the show, not just at it. With his latest group, SDRUM, he has teamed up with his lifelong friend and musical partner Brian Pioggia and drummer Brian Peltier to spread the vibes once again.
