As
a way of utilizing differential instruction while teaching the adults
in the Norwich Licensed Practice Nurse (LPN) program, the students
were asked to work in groups of 6 and put a poster together regarding
a specific specimen collection. Following strict guidelines, they
came up with some fabulous posters, depicting wound culture, foley
catheter port to access urine for a culture and sensitivity, a mid-stream
urine culture , a nose /throat culture specimen, and straining urine
for the passing of stones. Below are some samples of the students'
