This section is dedicated to all O'Brien Tech graduates. O'Brien Tech alumni who want to share news with other graduates can e-mail us at: emmett.obrien@ct.gov. We will post any news and keep a list of graduates with their name, year graduated, e-mail address, and website address.

If you are a graduate of Emmett O’Brien –we need your support, now! We have asked every O’Brien alumni to pledge one dollar (it could be more—but that is up to you) to our PFO BOOSTER BUCK ATHLETIC FUND.  The cost of funding athletic programs is huge and our students cannot do the raise funds alone. As you are aware most schools in the area have had generous contributions from alumni and parents to keep sports programs afloat.  Others operate on a pay to play basis.

At O’Brien neither option has been given to us.  We do not know what the future holds with regards to the operating costs for athletics or our options.   If every alumnus gave just one dollar – we would a have a much better shot at keeping our programs at an affordable level for our students.  We ask you to consider it if you were an athlete at O’Brien or you just feel that a school is a better place with an active athletic program then we are asking you to send us a buck.  You can to stop in to visit Mr. DeAngelis, Athletic Director to pass on a PFO Booster Buck –please do!

However,  if you choose to send contributions through the mail make your check payable to: O’Brien PFO-BOOSTER BUCK-141 Prindle Avenue-Ansonia, Connecticut 06401.  If you are interested in team sponsorship or assisting Mr. DeAngelis with the establishment of a school BOOSTER CLUB –for Athletics –please contact him immediately at 203 732 – 1833.  YOUR HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED – WE REALLY NEED IT!!!!   EVERY LITTLE BIT HELPS.

“Establishing an Active Alumni Association”

Join the Alumni Association:

Emmett O’Brien graduates are a significant resource we can use for the enrichment of our school community.  Our current students can be a valuable resource as potential employees.
Although we hear from time to time of our graduates’ achievements, or enjoy a chance encounter or visit from one or two, there are many alumni who have little or no contact with the school after graduation.  We would like to change this by re-forming an Alumni Association.

We need volunteers to get this effort moving forward.  Please consider signing up for a start up committee.  We would like to have at least 1 – 2 representatives from each graduated class.
