Ralph W. Salemme, the Department Head of Plumbing and Heating, has been selected as Platt Tech's Teacher of the Year.  Mr. Salemme has served as a member of the Plumbing and Heating State Steering Committee for twenty-one years, a member of the curriculum writing team, a teacher mentor, Skills USA Advisor, as well as Ski Club Advisor.  Under Mr. Salemme's direction the Plumbing and Heating program is consistently among the top technologies in both recruitment and job placement.
