Platt’s Auto Collision Repair and Refinishing sophomores and juniors will be refurbishing a 1952 Mack “A” model fire truck for the West Haven Fire Department.  Plumbing instructor John Carew, a volunteer firefighter, set up the project along with ACRR instructors Mario Ferguson and Robert Turcotte.  The vehicle is being repaired and repainted for parade use and as a public relations vehicle.  Pittsburgh Plate Glass donated the paint for the truck.
