Full-time adult students may apply for Federal Pell Grants, Veteran waivers, VA benefits and Senior Citizen waivers.  The school does not participate in any federal student loan programs.

Will I be treated like a high school student?
We prefer to treat adults as adults.  However, adult students are expected to comply with school rules such as not smoking, attendance policies and procedures, etc.  We find that adults realize the value of the training opportunity and are willing to comply with reasonable rules.  Adult students are typically role models for out youngsters.

It is a ten month full-time day program.  The hours are from 7:50 am-2:30 pm, five days per week during the first semester and clinical days during the second semester are eight hour shifts in an area hospital.  The classroom hours during the second semester are the same as first semester.

What will it cost?
Students pay $50.00 non refundable registration fee at orientation.  Tuition is required to be paid in full on or before the first class of each semester.

How do I apply?
Download application or pick up application at the school.  Complete and forward to Program Department Head along with high school or GED transcripts and two letters of recommendation.  Letters should be from either past or present employer or educator.  (NO FAMILY OR FRIENDS).  For more information call (203) 397-4031 Ext. 327.

Do I need a current physical exam?
Yes, you will need to go to a physician, physician’s assistant or advance practice nurse for a physical exam.  You will need to take the school’s physical form to your medical practitioner for completion.  Vaccination status must be included on the physical form (i.e. TB, tetanus, hepatitis etc.).
