The Surgical Prep program is currently located on the Mount Sinai campus of Saint Francis Hospital in Hartford. The program prepares individuals to become a member of a surgical team that delivers direct patient care before, during and after surgery. Training occurs through a combination of classroom, laboratory and clinical experiences.

ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS: 1) High school diploma or G.E.D.  2) Acceptable scores on pre-entrance tests. 3) An interview with the Department Head.
