Prince Annonunces C.I.A. C Scholar Athletes

Congratulations to Brittany Smith and Harris Kuljancic who were chosen as the C.I.A.C. Scholar Athletes of the year for Prince Tech. The criteria for this honor is the student must be a graduating senior, be an honor student, and play at least two varsity sports.  

Harris is the Valedictorian of the class of 2009.  Harris is a member of the soccer (captain) and basketball teams.  Harris has achieved High Honors for 4 years. Harris was selected to the C.I.A.C. All-State team in soccer and played in the All-State senior soccer game.  Harris was selected to the C.S.C. Honorable Mention team in basketball.  Harris is a four year scholar-athlete award winner and a member of the National Honor Society. Harris will be attending Central Connecticut State University in the fall where he will be majoring in Business and plans on playing soccer.

Brittany is the Salutatorian of the class of 2009.  Brittany is a member of the volleyball (captain) and basketball) teams. Brittany is a four year scholar-athlete award winner.  Brittany is also a member of Career Beginnings, Skills U.S.A. (Vice-President), Student Council, High Honors, Editor of the School Newspaper, Recipient of the Outstanding Young Women’s Award and the 14th Annual Courage Award.  Brittany is very active in Community Service, mostly through the program COMPASS Youth Collaborative.  She is a member of a community dance team called” In Da Mix”, which is a non-profit and performs at many local community events. Brittany will be attending the University of New Haven on a scholarship where she will be majoring in Criminal Justice – Crime Analysis Investigative Services.
