Field Day 2008 |
| Students gathered for a day of fun in the sun during Vinal Tech's annual Field Day activities on Wednesday, June 11th. Technologies competed for the 1st ever "Field Day Champs" trophy in a variety of events. The events held were Farthest Football Throw, Fastest Baseball Pitch, Homerun Derby, Volleyball, 3-Legged Race, Tug-O-War, Sack Race and Obstacle Course. From points gathered during the day for these events, 3 technologies came out on top and had to lay it down on the the Relay Course for the trophy. HVAC, Manufacturing and Electrical had the honors of battling it out choosing their top 6 students to run the 3-legged race, the sack race and the obstacle course which made up the Relay Course. The technology with the best time for all three events in the relay would win. And the winners are...ELECTRICAL!!! HVAC came in a close second and Manufacturing to round it out in third place.
