Tenth grade Civics students from Vinal recently visited the
State Capitol and Supreme Court in Hartford. The purpose
of the trip was to bring government studies alive. Students
had the opportunity to meet with Senator Doyle, Representative
Serra, and Representative Morin to talk about issues that are important
to them. Top on the list was teen drivers licensing requirements.
At the Supreme Court they learned about the history of the court
and even had an opportunity to sit in the judges chairs. This
was a great learning experience for the students involved. |
