On Friday, March 27, 2009, forty-six Vinal Tech SkillsUSA members competed at the 32nd Annual CT SkillsUSA Leadership and Skills Conference held at Vinal and by the end of the night twenty-two student members were awarded medals and or trophies at the awards ceremony held at Middletown High School. Thirteen students will now travel to Kansas City, Missouri in June to compete in the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference against other students from all over the country.
Now the fundraising will begin. In
order to get the students to Kansas City, we need approximately
$10,000 to do it! Please watch for weekly updates on the
website for the fundraisers that will be put in place for these
deserving state champions to get to their destination in June!
