Electrical
students are actively involved in the construction and wiring
of a log cabin located in Haddam. The project requires out of
the ordinary development and it is a unique experience for the
students for this type of structure. Under the direction of
Department Head Bill Zisk, students first installed temporary
service and then put in the basic rough in wiring
in the basement such as lights and receptacles. Students are
working closely with the builders to coordinate wiring the upper
floors of the structure. The building contractor is a graduate
from the carpentry department of E.C. Goodwin Tech. Heating,
Ventilation, and Air Conditioning students are also involved
in the project.
