| On Wednesday, April
9th, 5th Grade students from Beecher Magnet School visited
Eli Whitney's Health Technology program to learn about health
and diseases. After the Senior Health Tech students told the
students about how their heart and lungs
worked, they were able to ask questions and do hands on activities
in the shop.
The Health Tech Seniors then took the students
on a tour of the other shops including the Culinary Arts program
where they stopped in to enjoy a wonderful lunch prepared and
served by the Culinary Arts students. The staff from Beecher
Magnet were so impressed with both the students and faculty
at Eli Whitney that they want to start a partnership program between
the two schools and have invited the Health Tech students to
visit
their school on June 11th for Exhibition Day. |
