On May 2, 2008 Eli Whitney’s Sophomore and Junior Health Tech students visited the Nursing program at Southern Connecticut State University's (SCSU) Nursing Program. The studentslearned what it takes to qualify for entry into the SCSU Nursing Program, what skills they learn and how much they might earn when they become employed as a nurse after graduation. Afterwards the students visited the Student Hall for lunch to experience a taste of college life. It was an eye-opening experience for many of the students.
