The Corner
Deli is by far, the best place in Hamden to enjoy great sandwiches,
wraps, salads, soups, panini and more. The success of this establishment
comes from the owners' commitment to high quality, fresh raw materials,
great customer service in a fast paced - friendly environment and
adequate food business management practices.
The
deli's owners, Lynn and Michael, are strong supporters of our
Job Shadowing and WBL programs. They recently interviewed Christian
Maldonado (Senior in the Culinary Arts Shop) and decided to
hire him (WBL program). The student will work part-time Tuesday
and Thursday during shop cycles. Christian will be able to practice
his food preparation skills through a variety of routines (stations).
We wish Christian great success in
this new project and thank his employers for supporting our students.
